Kids Birthday Party Entertainer

Would this seem like a possible "side-business"?

I'm only 15 so I can't technically get paid for work so I was thinking I could use my skills to get a little money some other way. My favorite hobby is flying remote control airplanes. My largest has a 54" wingspan, can go ~75mph at full throttle (~85 if I do it out of a dive) and has enough power (1HP @ ~4lbs) to do extreme aerobatics as well. I fly the airplanes off of the road in front of my house and lots of passers by stop to ask questions and watch me fly. i was wondering if I could put my talents to use by putting an ad in the paper and "work" as an "entertainer" by flying and explaining my models (maybe for kids birthday parties or whatever). I have over 55 hours of stick (flying) time and my only crashes were from mechanical malfunctions so it'll be plenty safe. Would people actually be interested in something like this?

Wow, that's a great idea! I agree about the insurance, and make sure you have a legal contract. If you're in the US, many states allow people as young as 14 to make money, if their parents will sign.

You may also want to contact your local shop that sells these planes and supplies, and ask them if they would hire you to do demos for them.
.

Can anyone think of a main attraction to have at a teenager's birthday party?

He's Too old for a moonbounce, too young for Happy Hour. And we don't have the budget to hire an entertainer. Can anyone think of a fun party attraction for 20 high school kids?

Clear some space and put on some cool music to dance to. Maybe get a pool table or air hockey. Karaoke is always a hit.

Hope it helps
