Kid's Birthday Party
doing an investigation in to kid's birthday parties?
hi, i'm doing an investigation at school about children's birthday parties, preferably below the age of 11/12.
I'm just wondering how much you spend on your kid's parties, what sort of products you use and if there are any party supplies that aren't available on the market but you'd appreciate..
it would be a massive help if you could give me a couple of answers!

It depends on what kind of party. Under 4's I have found to be cheaper as a couple of home made banners and balloons you paint yourself, you then spend another 50 pound maximum on things like themed plates, cups and doggy bag stuff.
Over 4's as they are in school and have a lot more friends coming around then you tend to hire a bouncy castle or a hall and get more things to occupy them for a few hours with music for games etc.
I found with my children I spend on average 100 for them over 4 and 50 under 4.
A safe party popper that young kids can use instead of having to watch parents doing it would be good, also face paints that wash off better would be a lot nicer.
