Children Bible Games - Playing with Purpose
We will not play here or maybe we should! Let me clarify this. I like playing games are Bible games with a purpose. If someone is in my classroom during a lesson in the Bible that children may think they are just playing around. This is only partially true. Let's play ... but this game has a definite purpose. Children Bible games are part of the learning process. This process uses the Bible games and activities affecting the lesson of the Bible from different angles and perspectives. Games and activities concerned, different learning styles as well. The good thing is that children learn while having fun!
Games teach that the Church is fun
Do we really need to teach that? I mean, the church is a place to relax. It is necessary at all times be reverent and pious look. Uh, no ... it does not, and especially in the garden ministry. I like churches noisy with laughter and learning occurs. It has to be live fire and the living, breathing, powerful word of God. I've seen a lot churches in recent years and this is something that does not endanger. Children Bible lessons should be exciting, engaging, stimulating and here is that word again ... fun! They must be full of games of the Bible, joy and laughter! Children learn through play with a purpose. Bible teaches Games Although that is in the church, you can have fun too.
Lesson Review
I can use Bible games for kids to reinforce what is taught in the Bible story. Here are some ideas that have been tested and kid fun and effective:
* Play a card game similar to the concentration game using images of the Bible lesson. Make two cards of each image and turn the cards so that the image can not be seen. Children try to make matches of the cards. For example, a Bible lesson on the creation that have pictures of trees, animals, fruits, etc. If this is not new, but the kids really like it. A game as simple as this works even for children making it ideal for multi-age groups.
* Turn the card letter. The children take turns guessing and deliver the letters to reveal the name of a character in the story of the Bible, an idea or the Bible memory verse. The idea is to guess the right letters to reveal the word. This is an example of another game in the Bible tested and works great.
* Use a deck of cards with questions to ask children questions in the Bible lesson. Take it to a higher level and show the questions using PowerPoint. Play as teams or as a large group. My experience is that children pay attention for a long period of time to know the information will be used in a game of the Bible for their review.
The children apply the lesson
Application is one of the most important advantages of title = "bible games"> Bible games for children. Take your freedom of creativity, children explore the Bible lesson and pick an important aspect of that applied. Say your Bible story is about being full of God's love, compassion or the fruit of the Spirit. Make a heart tape on the floor. Children roll marbles or balls of paper in the tone of the heart to fill it.
I did a lesson about water baptism. Toy figures I put in a plastic plate and floating on the board a container with water. The boys threw coins into the plate for dipping or baptizing the figures. They still talk about it and ask to play again. Later I learned that some children had fears of being immersed in baptism. This simple game, fun Bible relieved her anxiety about baptism. Bible games for children are playing with a purpose. Pray and ask the Holy Spirit to help you create games that children apply the Bible lesson.
Fun for the fun of it
Children are forced to grow fast, sometimes too fast. Students in grades 4 and 5 are as students in the 7th and 8 years ago. Many times children are pressured to do more and be cool. Children need time to relax, have fun and act like children! Yes I believe in the Bible games for children and playing with a purpose. But I also believe that only allows children to be children has an important purpose too!
