what is best for a child to have a pony or miniature horse?
I'm going to tomorrow's auction to buy a pony or horse for my 2 yr.old grandson to learn to ride, I also have a small farm business and would like offer pony rides. so I think I need an animal with patience and willingness. that will remain with my 9 year old son. Old Morgan gelding
This may not be the answer you're looking for, but it has been my experience that a well-broke, adult horse will be your best bet. Pony's are smarter that horses and many of them use their brains for evil. Start your child is right in a bombproof horse. Leave the pony and ministries, for now. His grandson will be grateful.
