Wedding Party Decorations – How to Improve the Mood With Simple Decorations

The wedding party is a very important part of the wedding. This is where the "good time" starts and where the guests can begin to enjoy themselves. Having said that, you really need to put some serious thought into your wedding party decorations. You want to create a mood that is both festive and "fun loving" -- otherwise, the party will fall flat on it's face.

Wedding Party Decorations to Lighten The Mood...

1. Good Lighting. Poor lighting can really put a damper on the evening. If the lights are too bright, every possible flaw and short coming of the place will be outlined clearly. If the lights are too dim, people won't be able to see the beautiful decorations nor get a good sense of the "atmosphere" of the room.

2. Ribbons. Theme colored ribbons are simple, cheap, and they can be used with pretty much anything. Tie them to tables, lighting fixtures, candles, vases, door knobs, chairs, and even to the wrists of your guests!

3. Balloons. This is one of those wedding party decorations guaranteed to lighten the mood and create that "festive" feeling. Place balloons -- colored to match your wedding -- in bunches all around the wedding party hall.  Guests will love this simple touch and children will giggle in delight once they can get their very own balloon to play with.

4. Photographs. Gather "fun" photos of you and your husband (or wife) and decorate the wedding hall with them. These pictures will show your guests how much fun the two of you have had, not to mention why you're such a great match.

How do you make a football goal to use as a birthday party decoration?

I am making a football field on the dining room table out of construction paper and white paint and I would love to have some goals. My 6 year old is helping with the decor of my 2 year olds party so it needs to be simple.

You might try cheap wooden chopsticks, depending on the height. You can find them at bigger grocery stores like HEB that have an asian section (I don't recommend actually stealing them from the sushi counter ... )Simple white glue in a H-Shape will work well. Poster paint after it's dry to make it white. Stick it up right in modeling clay. It won't be like the nice modern "U" on the arched column, but it would be simple.
