How to have a black party

1. Decorations

Initially planned for a party at night so it would be good and the dark and things that glow very well, but I could not find a way to decorate the walls without damaging them. Laundry soap is very cool and I thought my walls of all modes needs to be cleaned. Children eager to help, so winding through a party store I saw black tablecloth, and I thought, "What if nailed black plastic for the walls? ". Black table cloths on the tree of dollars are just one dollar, but what I found was a black canvas painter in painting section of Walmart. $ 8 a roll covered half of my living room. I moved the sofa to another room, as a lounge for adults he did not like black light (unlike me, because I'm cooler that way). I Hung black canvas, and I tear off the bottom and hung strips over the opening. Two neon paint cans (again, yellow worked best) and I painted in big words "Happy Birthday!" It worked great good! The children were able to get into the paint and black light, bright and crazy is the best. A little soap and laundry room of my house smelled "spring." I hung the canvas in front of the TV and put in large letters "TV" to expect to keep them safe, but ended up playing games of all video modes. For less than $ 20 that had decorated the entire room.

We decorated with colored lacquer. They have one made just for low light. Also ourselves colored highlighter yellow. They sell neon nail polishes that have been cold and real soap you who are daring to wear to make yourself shine blue.

2. Beverages

Tonic Water: Yes, it lights, but it tastes like BC powder. I tried the jelly and mix it into lemonade, but even at 1.5 cups in 8 glasses of lemonade known as aspirin. Unless you intend to leave the bottle for decorations, or like the taste of BC powder, do not bother wasting your money. FYI, tonic water was developed as a drug for the prevention of malaria and other diseases, and was used by British soldiers.

Glow Water: Cut a bookmark soad nontoxic and the sense in a little water. Yellow lights the better, others not so well lit. Place in a glass picture and it looks impressive and tastes like water. Children are expected to cool or something, but I gave it water.

I put a refrigerator and a small table in the living room. I painted a little neon paint orange in the fridge so it does not get tripped and make glow water pitchers on the table. The sandwiches were kept in the living room because the living room really is not large enough for the rough-housing (or dance) and tables.

More ideas

1. A dance: My plans included original dances, but never had the radio installation. The boys mostly wanted to play and ran out of room to play his handheld, Nintendo, Xbox theme next year is part of the video game!

2. A Disco Ball: So this would be very good, but are expensive. You can buy at Spencer.

3. Laser light: Once again, you can find these at Spencer and some are quite affordable, depending on your budget and if you will use more than once.

4. Nebulizers: I'd like to use nebulizers in our party, but they are expensive, and space was limited. You could probably rent one at a store party supply if you really want one. Spencer had a wide range of items party, but does not recommend bringing children because it is right next to the adult toys.

One last thing

Remember, safety is a problem here. I ran into the living to get the camera and when I ran out to hit the wall! > And be sure to use paint neon on each wall so that everyone knows where all the walls, and is probably a good idea to delineate extis.
