It says,
"Please don't bring any wrapped gift. "
"If you like to bring the gift, the monetary gift (cash) will be helpful for saving."
Now, should I give them cash?
Or, is it OK to let him go without any gift?
You need to send a gift. Send what you would have spend on a present.
You can't send someone over empty handed. Your son will feel bad when everyone else gives their presents.
