What we do with this? First let's start with the basics.
As an avid baker, I'm always looking for ways to remove the boring cake my repertoire.
This bread is one of the cast aluminum line. Overall, I love this kind of pots. I have some cast aluminum pans for baking cakes, pound cakes and quick breads. The most popular are by Nordicware.
In this case, Wilton has created a whimsical shape that is very unique. It is, of course, looks like a big muffin. It is tapered at the top and a little closer to the bottom. It is divided into two halves - allowing for even baking and all construction easier after it finishes cooking. The top half is spiral - this allows simple decor. As you can see from the photos available the level of decoration is limited only by your imagination.
The pan performs about as expected. The volume amounts are variable. I have seen 10 cups and 6 ½ cups appearing in a couple of websites. The 10 cups is total volume possible and the 6 - ½ cup of practice is the amount that is poured into the pan. This allows room to rise.
Do not believe the hype about the nonstick surface making the release of the hand. Use butter and flour or spray inside and Joy Baker. With These plans detail design, cakes want to stick in the woods. You must use something to facilitate the extraction.

Regular cupcakes also allow more diverse decorating possibilities where children can choose between different glazes colors and splashes. It also allows small hands to help decorate. And again regular cupcakes are truly Finger Food environment.
This bread would be ideal for small groups of friends and family you do not want a full size cake. It would also make a great center, surrounded by traditional cakes - regular or mini - Size does matter. Surrounding the large cake size cupcake with concentric circles of small biscuits would a cool visual.
You can, of course, do whatever you want.
How does it taste? This will be determined by the type of cake recipe used and how well the cake was baking.
Ultimately, this bread was skeptical at first. He was convinced it was just a gimmick that quickly disappear from view as I am always this way with limited use, so capricious pans. In the end, I think it could provide years of good use for kids birthdays and other functions.
