Entertainers For Kids Birthday Party

Entertainers For Kids Birthday Party

I have been providing entertainment for children in Brisbane and the Gold Coast for nearly fifteen years. Tens of thousands of children have laughed their way through my magic and juggling shows. Here's the thing: as I see I'm also watching. I had a unique platform to see first hand how children react to different styles of entertainment. I'm often booked with other forms of entertainment. I know what works and leaving them yawning and I'm happy to share these observations with you.

Considering Children's Entertainment (although based in Brisbane I performed in the U.S., England, East and South Africa and I am sure audiences of children are more or less the same throughout the world), children can be grouped as follows:

  • 2 to 3 years old
  • 4 to 7 years old
  • 8 to 12 years old

2 to 3 years

What a challenge for this age group is to entertain. They wander around most of their waking moments in a state of shock and dismay they are a tough audience to impress If you can keep one in place. As a magician never take a year 2 or 3 old backup because we simply do not understand. A great friendly advice: Save your money until they are older.

Not getting a castle jumping. It always ends in tears. These children do not have the coordination to avoid collision at any moment. They make love puppet shows with colorful characters and a lot of singing. The farmyard petting zoos that come to you is great for this age. Just make sure you have plenty of hand cleaner available Mums to appease worried about germs.

4 to 7 years old

Three words sum up what 4 to 7 years of age entertainment for children should be: Silly, silly, silly. With this age is all about the journey not the destination. Slap stick comedy, mispronounce words and names, genders mixing. Kids go crazy for this stuff. The best show of the children of this is the magician's birthday. Now, of course, would say, I am one. It is not the only option for the entertainment of the parties. I would not want my children to have a magician party every year. However, each child must have a magic show on his birthday, at least once. Why? Because kids just LOVE magic shows. If you are going to do, do while they are 4,5,6, or 7 years old.

This was love jumping castle and have all the motor skills to keep it relatively free of incidents. Organized sports parts of the game are pretty good but the required space may feel a bit too much at school and have better backup if it rains. Displays reptiles are certainly memorable and are the test of time.

8 to 12 years old

8 to 12 years of age terrorize most the performers. At this age, children feel "are older and a backup in any suggestion that children are intellectually yet. Theirs is a world of new knowledge trumpets and laughing at bodily functions. In their minds they are no longer babies and they'll respect you for acknowledging it. I've had nothing but fun with this age. No big secret. Wow i with skill and engage them with empathy and respect. This was love in my hands Balloon Twisting experiences that combine with magic shows sharper challenging.

Laser Skirmish For children ticks every box for your needs. It can be a costly and time low humidity can make it more fun. It is difficult to go beyond a DJ for girls of this age.

What I have described certainly the case in Brisbane Children's Entertainment and I am sure that translates into more areas. Good luck!
