The recipes include chocolate chip zucchini cookies and yam burgers. The recipes taste good, are good for you, and appeal to kids. Healthy foods that are appealing to kids appears to be a contradiction. But as we point out, "To be appealing, food must look good and taste good. Beyond that, kids don't care one bit what's in the food they are eating; you already know that. In the battle to win over kids, presentation and taste win".
