Children's Cakes

Children's Cakes

Creating a children's tea party is fun and easy. And, it's a great way to teach children etiquette, as well as creating lasting memories.

Here are some ideas to start with what will be ready for the ladies and gentlemen. But do not stop them. Use your imagination and creativity and on all, have fun!

Invitations

Cut the shape of a teapot in white or light colored construction paper. Enter details of the invitation.

Or take a small rectangle of cardboard or construction paper, write your invitation details on it, and glue them to a bag of tea.

Maybe your ladies may want to invite Teddy Bear, Dolly, and Grandma too.

Children's Tea Party Decoration

Set a table with a tablecloth and napkins.

If you are having a great game, put everything in two or three tables near where you are going to make tea. Then install the smaller tables and chairs around the room.

Doilies of paper trays, fresh flowers for their schools to add the tone.

And, of course, you want a glass of water, preferably ceramic. If you do not have one, you can have low cost of sales garage and thrift stores.

Activities and games

For smaller customers, asking everyone to join in singing am a pot of tea is a necessity.

And reading a favorite story will be rather whimsical. Some recommendations are the books of Beatrix Potter, Alice in Wonderland, and Winnie the Pooh.

Arts and crafts, so the work activities.

By nature, children's tea parties provide yes to play dress-up. To achieve adequate clothing (formal, the bigger the better) cleaning your closet and ask friends to contribute. Subsequently, clothes can be returned or donated to charity.

Include a lot of scarves and jewelry. Mardi Gras Long work particularly well for this purpose.

Get a lot cheap makeup.

Food and Beverage

This is the heart of a tea party. Why would drink tea, of course. But if children are too young to handle the hot liquid can replace punch or other cold beverage.

Serve food in small bite portions. Some examples? Think bite-sized sandwiches filled with egg salad, peanut butter and jelly, or other delicious fillings of the boys like. You can use cookie cutters to turn them in unusual ways.

You also want to serve small biscuits and cakes.

What is a fair price by the cake-making?

I recently discovered I have a talent for making pies. It all started with my children and other relatives. Now people ask me to make cakes for their children also and are willing to pay for them. They are quite detailed, taking from 3 to 6 hours to make, and it cost me less than $ 20 for supplies. What is a price just in charge of making cakes? How much would you be willing to pay for a professional looking cake with your child's favorite character or theme of your choice?

in the bakery where I work, an 8-inch cake is 31.95. A quarter sheet cake is the same price as it contains the same amount of cake. Pastel 6 inches is 19.25. This is the decor and ready to go. if deco is developed, many of the figures or elements on the cake, extra is charged. If only flowers or balloons and streamers, no additional charge. However, our supplies are bought in bulk so the price is different from buying at the grocery store. I agree with the person who suggested to get a job in a bakery. This will help hone your skills and give you the opportunity to see if you really want to do as a business. It also eliminates the question Kitchen inspection, business license and all other things would have to pass. FYI, did you know that if a cake decorated with the copy righted action characters (Spider Man, Diego, Dora, SpongeBob, etc.) is made in glaze, can be sued as you need to buy the rights to do that? many problems never went back in the day when almost everyone knew someone who did not cakes at home.

I love this CD!

by michelle v. payne from Los Angeles on 2009-02-15
When I was only 12 years old, I became curious about classical music, and so I picked up this tape (that was the format of the time), and fell in love with every song. It includes several popular favorites such as Fur Elise, Moonlight Sonata, Clair de Lune, and Rondo alla Turka. It's a fabulous introduction to classical piano music. I buy copies for my students all the time when they seem to be sparking an interest in classical music. I always know it will pull them right into the classical fold!~Michelle Payne The Modern Music Maker Podcast[...]

Great Selection, Not Enough Harpsichord Tracks

by Lisa from California, USA on 2004-03-06
I know, I know it's triumph of the piano, but I would have preferred a couple more harpsichord pieces to add a little more perspective (this CD has only two). For example, the insert states that the first edition of the Moonlight sonata bore the inscription "for the harpsichord or piano-forte"; it would have been fun to hear it on the harpsichord. Overall, it's a very nice CD with a great track selection and good sound quality.

Amazing Variety of Classical Music

by from Wisconsin on 2004-01-08
If you like the piano, you will absolutely love this cd. I feel in love with it the first time I heard it. All the classics are contained with additional songs from composers I've never heard of -Igor Stravinsky and Francois Couperin - who wrote my new favorite song. Other than those two, Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, Beethoven, Schubert, List, Schumann, Mendelssohn, Chopin, Brahms, Rachmaninov, Debussy, Bartok and Scott Joplin give you their best compositions. This cd is truly amazing - what a variety! I own several copies - it's a wonderful investment. Even if you only somewhat like classical music, I can guarantee you will not be disappointed with this. Enjoy the music :)

Not the best recording

by J. Yang from San Jose, CA on 2007-07-14
The songs were played flawlessly, however, it's really quiet. When you turn up the volume, you will hear hissing in the background.

Stunning Goldberg Aria

Piano Perfection!

by Princess from Santa Monica on 2005-10-15
Saw it on TV and thought the music was beautiful, but forgot to write the information down... but managed to buy it online (now I see it frequently at the music stores)and I absolutely love this album -- all my favorite pieces! (I'm not big on writing comments or reviews, but was compelled by the artistry and passion I heard throughout this CD!)

A Classic in Every Sense!

by Music Maven from Los Angeles on 2005-10-12
I overheard some people at the record store talking about this album - one guy was actually a piano teacher and couldn't stop raving about it. I bought the album on his recommendation and couldn't be happier - it's stunningly beautiful. Beethoven's "Moonlight" sonata is haunting and Chopin's "Minute Waltz" is spectacular in its precision and speed! This will make a great stocking stuffer at Christmas for my friends (... I'm getting them now cause I've gone to a couple places and they're out of stock). If you're into piano, this is truly a classic!
